A 3-Holer?

After working all afternoon at the office, I decided it was time for a beer and headed over to Schmohz. As I pulled in to the parking lot, I could see a large bus. Lucky for me, the crowd of 65 thirsty visitors were making their way back to the bus. When I walked in with my growler carrier, a friendly guy yelled out, “Hey, where’d ya get the growler carrier?” I replied, “I build them!” He suggested a carrier that would hold three growlers. I suggested he buy two growler carriers and 4 growlers instead of 3.
You see, the way I look at it, a growler carrier in each hand leads to a balanced life.

Built A Sled…Huh?

As I continue building growler carriers, I’m always looking for ways to make them better, quicker, etc. One of the ideas was, what I call a ‘sled’ for the nail gun. It a custom built holder for the nail gun that keeps the nails perpendicular to the board. In most cases this is no big deal, but when you’re power driving a nail within a quarter inch from the edge of a board, it doesn’t take much to have the nail come out the side of the plank. This is one of those tweeks that takes a little more time, but adds to the quality side of the equation.
